Gettin' Back in the Groove
Working at finishing up an editing project at work. My computer's being rather a slow poke in printing, which gives me a welcome excuse to post on my livejournal.

So many different, random things have happened over the past few weeks.

One day, I drove up to the University of Washington. Unusually, I had only a $50.00 bill on me. The parking garage would not take it as payment for the $8.00 fee. I scrambled around my car and purse collecting as much spare change and fast-food dollar bills as possible. I was still $2.00 short. The driver of a car leaving the garage and getting a refund for a short stay saw my plight and volunteered the two bucks I was short. So incredibly sweet! I try hard to give strangers kindesses, but it always surprises and pleases me when I'm the recipient. Interestingly, the UW food court broke the $50 when I bought a $0.97 cup of tea. A very weird experience overall.
